Bartering Options for Vanity Numbers in USA
This project involved developing a bartering system for vanity numbers for a vanity number onwer in the USA.
The owner of the vanity number was keen to generate revenue from these vanity numbers, but was not in favour of outright selling or leasing of the numbers.
His idea was to barter these numbers in return for something more tangible.
For e.g. one of the ways to barter these numbers was with any NBA team. So, when the specific NBA team were playing matches in their home, he could get free tickets to their games.
Having tie-up with a pharma or drug store is another way to barter these numbers. This would ensure that the owner would get drugs at a lower rate or may be, free, in exchange for using these vanity numbers.
The strategy document identified various industries and the ways in which these vanity numbers could be bartered. The client was quite impressed with the execution of the project and developing the strategy document.
